Ground Source Heat Pumps
What can Ground Source Heat Pumps do?
- Provide heating & hot water
- Reduce your electricity bills hugely
- Reduce your carbon footprint
- Qualify you for RHI* (Renewable Heat Incentive) cash back scheme
- Reduces the need for fossil fuel
- Can connect to other renewable energy technologies such as:
How do they work?
- It converts energy from the ground into heat via ground loops installed in your garden
- Ground loops can be installed in a borehole or a trench depending on space
- Requires electricity to run pump but uses far less than conventional heating systems
- Delivers heat at lower temperatures so can be left on 24/7 during extreme cold
Installation Time
You will be advised on the expected installation time in your free estimate but can take approximately 4 – 10 days
Manufacturers
To make sure you get the best air source heating system for your circumstances we will provide design options using equipment from the following manufacturer.

* Only by using MCS Accredited Installers & equipment will you qualify for RHI & FiT.
We say...
With the cost of fuel rocketing, installing a ground source heat pump can reduce your bills by drawing on free energy stored in the Earth.
They say...
"Ground source heat pumps use a buried ground loop which transfers heat
from the ground into a building to provide space heating and, in some
cases, to pre-heat domestic hot water.
The system does not require any external fuel and is designed to heat a whole building."
