- Estimates are valid for 30 days.
- Any additional work not included in the signed estimate shall be charged at an extra cost.
- E Scallan Ltd shall not install heat pumps in properties that are not adequately energy efficient.
- E Scallan Ltd cannot guarantee performance of any installation should clients go against Company recommendations.
- Payment terms for Alternative Energy works are 20% of balance due with order, 75% payable at commencement of work and 5% due and payable on completion of work at site.
- Payment terms for all other works are 75% of balance due and payable at commencement of work and 20% due and payable on completion of work at site. Upon satisfactory completion of work 5% final balance is due 1 week thereafter.
- Completion time given in written estimate is approximate.
- All card payments shall incur a 3% charge.
- The performance of Solar Heating systems in terms of kw hours is impossible to predict with certainty due to the variability of solar radiation (sunlight) from location to location and from year to year. Estimates are based upon the Government’s standard assessment procedure for energy rating of buildings (SAP) and given as guidance only. It should not be considered as a guarantee of performance.
- The performance of Microgeneration Heat Pump systems is impossible to predict with certainty due to the variability of the climate and its subsequent effect on both heat supply and demand. Estimates are based upon the best available information and given as guidance only. It should not be considered as a guarantee of performance.
- The customer is responsible for obtaining if required any permission such as planning, building warrant or other such permission from Local Authorities, Energy Suppliers or other such organization.
- As a Worcester Bosch Accredited Installer, E Scallan Ltd can offer customers a 5 year extended warranty provided the appliance is serviced annually by Worcester Bosch Accredited Installers. Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in the warranty becoming invalid.
- All materials remain the property of E Scallan Ltd until invoice is paid in full.
- E Scallan Ltd shall not be responsible for lifting and relaying flooring and floor coverings.
- E Scallan Ltd shall not handle any asbestos materials.
- E Scallan Ltd shall not be responsible for the reinstatement of insulation.
